I just checked my phone and my battery’s at 21%. I should charge it, but while it's plugged in, I really need to reply to some messages before I forget. Oy vey!
When it comes to texting, are you the type to type out full sentences, or do you prefer texting slang? I love using it for fun—as long as I actually know what it means. Otherwise, you end up looking a bit silly using an acronym you don't understand!
A friend once started texting "cc" at the beginning of every thread. I thought she was carbon copying me on an email! It turns out it stands for “coucou”—a French greeting I love. From that interaction, I realized there is a whole world of French texting slang and chat abbreviations to explore.
