Exactly as the pictures show. Interesting method in teaching bilingual readings. Wide variety of material without downplaying the virtual assistant directs us in the methodology adopted in teaching and reinforcing the chosen language. Its a good tool for both learning and for improving the language, based on reading (and phonetic) in parallel ... Thank you ! I think the course is excellent.

The app is useful for reading material such as current news and stories. Recently watching ads to get access to certain material has occurred but overall as long as it stays quality, free, and does what its suppose to without becoming ad-city I am on board for a few more years!

Is it difficult to learn Swedish?

The difficulty of learning Swedish varies depending on your native language and how close it is to Swedish. For example, if German is your first language, Swedish will be easier to learn.

Pronunciation may be more difficult than in English, for a variety of reasons, including having a large number of vowels.

About Swedish

Swedish is a North Germanic language spoken by at least 10 million people, primarily in Sweden and parts of Finland, where it has equal legal standing with Finnish.

It is mutually intelligible with Norwegian and Danish, though the degree of mutual understanding is largely determined by the speaker's dialect and accent.

Because of the variations in tone, accent, and intonation, written Norwegian and Danish are generally easier to understand by Swedish speakers than spoken Norwegian and Danish. Swedish is a descendant of Old Norse, which was the common tongue of the Germanic peoples who lived in Scandinavia during the Viking Era. It has the most native speakers in any North Germanic language.

Standard Swedish is the national language of Sweden, spoken by the majority of Swedes. It developed from Central Swedish dialects in the 19th century and was well known by the turn of the century. Although there are still regional variations and rural dialects, the written language is standardized and uniform.

Swedish has a long history in Estonia, but the number of Estonians who speak the language is rapidly dwindling. Instead, it's common among the Swedish diaspora, especially in Oslo, Norway, where there are more than 2 Swedish residents.

Did you know?

Because there is no way to say "please" in Swedish, you may have to find another way to be polite.
