We all know Santa Claus. We know he resides at the North Pole with his wife, Mrs. Claus We also know that he brings gifts to small, good children worldwide on Christmas. But, what is the story behind this big and cheerful white-bearded man?
The modern Santa Claus grew out of traditions surrounding the historical Saint Nicholas, the British figure of Father Christmas, and the Dutch figure of Sinterklaas.
