A long time ago, there lived a very poor boy called Tom. Tom was a very good boy who, despite having no toys, was very happy. He loved reading books and stories about knights and kingdoms. He wished he could become a kinght some day.
One day, it occurred to Tom to go to the royal palace to see the change of guards. Although it was very cold, Tom liked to see the guards; they were very disciplined and well dressed.
