Long ago, the Earth and the Sky gave birth to the Giants. They yearned to reign over the Cosmos, and the Olympus gods - much weaker than the Giants - could not resist their onslaught. The oracle had foretold that none of the giants would perish at the hands of the Olympian gods: only a mortal could defeat them.
