Living on the edge

Do you like to keep on the cutting edge of science and technology? Do you like learning about the world around you? Are you fascinated by the natural world, or computers, of the science behind human behavior? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the above, then you’ve found the section of our many audiobooks that’s perfect for you!

Expand your mind and your language skills at the same time with Beelinguapp’s Science and Technology audiobooks.

The science of language learning

You don’t need to spend hours and hours every day to see progress in whichever language you’re studying. If you can find 10 minutes in your day, then you will see your vocabulary and understanding of the target language rapidly grow over time.

All of our audiobooks feature two versions of the same text, side by side. One version is in the language you’re studying. But the other version is in your own language, giving you all the help you need so you never feel lost or frustrated while you’re reading.

You can also play an audio track of the story while you read. This gives you the opportunity to train your listening skills at the same time as your reading skills. All of our audiobooks are also narrated by native speakers, so you know that what you’re hearing is always both authentic and correct.

At the end of each story you’ll find some comprehension questions, so you can double-check that you’ve understood everything you’ve read and listened to. All of our Science and Technology audiobooks are available in 14 languages, so you can learn Spanish, Japanese, Korean, French, Chinese, German, Italian and more!

FAQs

Does it really work?

When learning a new language, the best thing you can do is to give yourself as much new input in the target language as possible. Reading and listening to our audiobooks gives you two types of input at the same time, in a natural, authentic and everyday format. And, best of all, you can try Beelinguapp for free and see for yourself!

When is the best time to study?

‘When’ is not as important as forming a regular schedule. The best thing you can do is to find a time in your day that is always free. Perhaps at lunchtime, or just after coming home from school or work. It doesn’t really matter when it is, so long as it’s always free. That way you can get into a good habit, and a regular routine that you won’t forget.

How often should I study?

If you can study every day, then that’s perfect. If you can’t, then taking one or two days off per week will not be a problem. The key is to try to form a habit and be consistent. Remember, you don’t need to spend hours and hours every day; setting aside 10 minutes is enough to see real progress in your target language.
