Many people around the world do not go to work on Sundays. One reason is the historical tradition of a day of rest. This idea comes from different cultures and religions. In Christianity, Sunday is considered a holy day. Christians believe it is a day to relax because it is the day Jesus rested after creating the universe. This tradition encourages people to spend time with family and attend church.
