My name is Maria. I am a nurse. Something I constantly wonder is whether or not we choose our profession. Maybe it chooses us. In my case, it isn’t clear. When I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to be a nurse. I was nine years old when my grandmother got sick. She was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Polymyalgia.
