Judit Polgár is widely considered the best female chess player of all time. Polgár was born in Budapest in 1976. Her father, László Pólgar, was convinced that geniuses are not born but made. Therefore, he embarked on an experiment with his three daughters to prove that children could accomplish great things if they were adequately trained.
