Once I have my boarding pass, I go to the security checkpoint. Security at airports is very strict. You may not take more than 100 ml of liquids in your carry-on luggage. Also, you will need to take off your belt, jacket, watch, and shoes. Take out keys, coins, and anything else made of metal out of your pockets.
If you are traveling with your laptop, you will need to take it out of the bag. Then place it on the conveyor belt. All your belongings will be scanned electronically.
