“Te amo” – I love you

The literal translation of “Te Amo” is “I love you” and this phrase is usually associated with a more romantic and affectionate mood, especially in more serious relationships.

“Te quiero” – I love you

( I want you or I care about you )

“Te quiero” is a lighter version of expressing love and care. The phrase is typically used when showing love to family, friends, a person you have feelings for, or to a significant other(s).
