Numbers are everywhere and anywhere, whether we like it or not. When it comes to learning a new language, knowing how to count is essential. Counting is one of the most important steps in mastering Bahasa Indonesia.
To get you started with this simple skill, here’s a counting guide from 1 (satu) to 100 (seratus).
How to count from 0 to 10
- 0: nol (nol)
- 1: satu (satu)
- 2: dua (doowah)
- 3: tiga (tiga)
- 4: empat (empat)
- 5: lima (lima)
- 6: enam (enam)
- 7: tujuh (tujuh)
- 8: delapan (delapan)
- 9: sembilan (sembilan)
- 10: sepuluh (sepuluh)
How to count from 11 to 20
- 11: sebelas
- 12: dua belas
- 13: tiga belas
