One day, when I came home at lunchtime I heard a funny noise. I went out to the backyard to find my neighbor, Peter, and a Flux Capacitor. He told me he’d built a time machine, just like in the films! He said, “I’ve been to the year 2024. Not much has changed, and no one is living underwater but the fish, but there’s definitely extra yapping all around. Just yap, yap, yappity yap.”

Peter’s trip taught him a dictionary of new words that actually sound pretty cool. These words have the power to make you sound current, provided you know what they actually mean! I’m going to share them with you so that no matter the year or season, you’ll be in the loop. Thank you, Peter.
