We’ve all seen that crazy pineapple hack on TikTok, right? It’s the one where you don’t need a knife to cut open a pineapple. If you’re still confused about this so-called “trick,” let me explain the steps.
The No-Knife Hack:
- Twist the leafy top off.
- Tap and twist the pineapple on a flat surface about 10 to 15 times.
- Roll the pineapple with all your strength.
- Grab a spike and pull a piece out!
Whether it belongs on pizza or not, the English name “pineapple” was chosen because the fruit looked like apples on a pine tree. However, its counterpart “ananas” comes from the Tupi word "nanas," meaning "excellent fruit."
