How To Say “Lip Balm” In Different Languages

I have at least four lip balms. One in the bathroom. Another in my pocket. A third mixed inside my "little bag of itsy-bitsy-thingable-things." And that last little stick? Tucked inside a mug on my desk.
I know it sounds excessive to have four, but chapped lips always seem to strike at the most inconvenient times. At least I have one to the rescue whenever they do! I mean, let’s be real: nobody wants to deal with chapped lips, no matter the season.
Before we get into the list, here are two fun facts to read while you're applying your own balm. (Hah! I just applied my cherry blossom lip balm and I still cannot get over the scent; it’s like I’m actually wearing cherry blossoms on my lips!)
- The history of lip balm can be traced back to as early as 40 BC, where Egyptians used a beeswax-based concoction to soothe their lips.
- It wasn't until the 1880s that Dr. Charles Browne Fleet created the first commercial lip balm, which we now know as the famous ChapStick.
