“La chitarra” & More Musical Instruments In Italian

In Italian culture, there is this old wedding tradition called la serenata and this happens the night before the wedding of the beloved couple. During la serenata or the serenade, the groom sings to the bride, declaring his undying love and affection and all that. His singing is accompanied by the playing of musical instruments or perhaps a modern sound system, to make things easier in this day and age. Of course, this enchanting scene which is reminiscent of a movie, happens by the window or balcony. I mean, could this get any more romantic??!

I guess it’s true what they have been saying for many years, music truly makes the heart beat like a drum…. badum-badum-bam.
