One, two, three, four, five… eighteen. There are eighteen (18) eggs in the round wicker basket. How did five get all the way to eighteen? Well, that’s a counting secret I could never ever tell you. After all, that is a secret, and a secret is not meant to be shared out loud. Besides, it would no longer be a secret if I did tell you about this special trick. Right?

On another note, could you do this egg counting in Filipino? Like if there was a fridgeful (a random word I just made up which means a refrigerator full) of eggs, would you be able to count all the eggs in it? Not in English, but in Filipino. If your answer to that is a “yes,'' great. Count away. If your answer to that is a “no,” great because this counting guide will help you learn how to count from 1 to 100.
