Bluey

I never really paid attention to the duration of a Bluey episode, so watching Bluey for the first time felt so strange. I was really confused because the first episode felt very short. And I was not used to that at all. So after Magic Xylophone, episode 1 of season 1, I scrolled down the list to check out the summary of the episodes. I mainly checked the duration part so I could find an answer to my question.

There, I saw that all Bluey episodes were no longer than 10 minutes. In fact, most of season 1 (if not all) were 9 minutes long. Most of the episodes for season 2 were 8 minutes long and a handful were 9 minutes long. Most of the episodes for season 3 were 8 minutes, one episode was like about 30 minutes long, and another one for like 7 minutes long. So, yes as you’ve guessed, Bluey doesn’t have very long episodes. You could say they are mini-episodes. But no, because there are actually Bluey mini-episodes and those are much shorter than the original episodes. Therefore, the original Bluey episodes are just Bluey episodes.

Anywayyy, that’s enough talk about the length of the Bluey episodes. On the other hand, I should probably give you a summary of the series. But all I can say is that Bluey is a hearty, comforting, huggy, warm bowl of soup that makes you feel all better. Like chicken noodle soup. But with extra flavor that helps you appreciate and learn more about the world around you. Give it a watch and you’ll know what I mean. You might even find yourself using Aussie slang, just like the Heelers, before you know it!
