Do you smell that? I think love is in the air! It’s also that time of the year where places are filled with heart shaped things, cuddly teddy bears, and chocolate knick knacks, ready to be shared to spread some lovin’ on this special event.

It’s the season of St. Valentine, and to all of you “Happy Hearts Day.” Apart from being known as a commercial holiday, Valentine’s Day is a day to celebrate love in its many shapes and sizes. Alexa, play Love by Matt White.


What is love? It is a word and a feeling. Google says love is an intense feeling of deep affection. Wikipedia says love encompasses strong and positive emotions. Merriam-Webster says love is a strong constant affection for a person.

    “What A Man'' tells the story of Alex,a 30-year-old schoolteacher, who realizes his girlfriend is having an affair with their neighbor. One thing after another, Alex is forced to move out of the shared apartment and he ends up living with his elementary schoolmate, Nele. During his stay with Nele, Alex tries to figure out what went wrong in his previous relationship, but he ends up…falling in love with her all over again.

    The movie follows three Italian men who fall in love with three women. The first section follows a young lawyer who has a fling. His experience is followed by that of a middle-aged man who has a fling as well. And the last story of the movie is about a retired man who falls in love with his friend’s daughter.
