The Eiffel Tower is one of most famous landmarks of Paris. It was built between 1887 and 1889 for the Paris Exposition (World Fair). The Tower was the Exposition's main attraction. It was constructed to celebrate the centennial of the French Revolution.
This iconic tower is 300 meters tall. This height does not include the 24 meters aerial on the top. The total height of the structure is 324 meters (1,063 feet).
